The Voice: What We Know About Ariana Grande's $13.7 Million LA Home

With $150 million dollars to her name, the next The Voice judge Ariana Grande wasn’t only talking about diamond rings when she said, “I see it, I like it, I want it, I got it."  The star has made residence in a $13.7 million mansion in Los Angeles, California. After renting homes throughout the City of Angels for five years, she finally landed on a permanent house in a neighborhood known as the Bird Streets of LA.

Ariana, who is set to judge the competition’s upcoming season, became a singing sensation when her fame skyrocketed after beginning a music career following her stint as a Nickelodeon star. Since then, the 27-year-old singer, songwriter, and actress became Billboard’s Woman of the Year in 2018, the greatest pop star of 2019, and the most accomplished female artist of the 2010s.

Sold by Woodbridge Liquidation Trust, Ariana purchased her house in July of 2020, two years after its construction (via Variety). With a two-year vacancy, Ariana is the first owner to utilize its expansive seven bathrooms, four bedrooms, and three floors. With large glass balconies on each story, the entire top level is a master bedroom, complete with a lounge area, private terrace, and boutique-style closet that’s bigger than the average bedroom.

With a total of over 10,000 square feet, the home also includes an office, gym, theater, and cedar-lined wellness center featuring a sauna. The master bathroom is made of imported stone and features dual vanities, as well as a rainfall shower. In addition to the bar and wine cellar, which contains over 300 bottles, the kitchen provides custom-designed cabinets and designer appliances. A double-sided fireplace is present to heat both the living and the dining room.

From the outside, metal doors open to an atrium that leads to an all-glass front door. Ironically, Ariana’s house is rather visible, whether to passersby, tourists, or her neighbors, Leonardo DiCaprio and Keanu Reeves. While the floor-to-ceiling windows may provide natural sunlight, they also put the interior on full display for people to see. With its close proximity to the street, the front of the home is just a few feet from the road. Like many of the other homes in the area, Ariana’s doesn’t have a yard, or but it does include a large patio, perfect for entertaining guests or relaxing with her fiancé Dalton Gomez, and an L-shaped infinity pool that looks out to the view of Los Angeles.

Initially priced at $25.5 million and later at $17.5 million, the $13.7 million Ariana wound up paying still made the investment one of the most expensive Hollywood purchases of 2020. But with her successful career, which includes two Grammy Awards, three American Music Awards, and nine MTV Music Awards, the singer has made a heap of well-earned profits that allowed her to buy a home only fit for a pop star. The Voice fans can expect to see her alongside Blake Shelton, John Legend, and Kelly Clarkson in the show's 21st season.
