10 Best Spider-Ham Villains | ScreenRant

Spider-Ham is a humorous Marvel hero that first premiered in the 1983 one-shot comic Marvel Tails Starring Peter Porker, The Spectacular Spider-Ham. Hailing from Marvel's Larval Universe, Spider-Ham appeared in his own title and various other crossover events since his introduction.

Besides comic book fame, Peter Porker was wonderfully voiced by John Mulaney in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-VerseSpider-Ham: Caught in a Ham, and Back on the Air. And like any comic hero, there are plenty of villains that Spider-Ham has gone up against. Only this time they are more silly than evil.

10 Ducktor Doom

Appearing in the very first issue of Peter Porker, The Spectacular Spider-Ham, Ducktor Doom is the mashup of a duck and Fantastic Four villain, Doctor Doom. Much like his human equivalent, Ducktor Doom is protected with titanium armor and draped in a green hooded cape. Peter Porker first goes face-to-face with the villain when he is sent on assignment by his boss, J. Jonah Jackal, and ends up on Doom's island with his many henchmen.

With a team of ducks and kangaroos on his side, Ducktor Doom is a deadly villain for both Spider-Ham and the Fantastic Fur.

9 Doctor Octopussycat

The feline version of Doc Ock made his first appearance in What If? #8 from 1978 and quickly began to make appearances in many of Spider-Ham's adventures. This cat has the very same metallic arms that his human counterpart, Doctor Otto Octavius, has when he battles against the web-slinging Spider-Man.

In the Spider-Ham comics that ran from 2019 to 2020, Doctor Octopussycat teams up with his own version of the Sinister Six, the Swinester Six. The team consisted of villains like Buzzard, Sandmanatee and Mysteriape.

8 The Kingpig

This Larval Universe criminal was the animal equivalent of the New York-based supervillain Kingpin. The Kingpig first appeared briefly in What If? #8, but was featured in the storyline from Peter Porker, The Spectacular Spider-Ham #12 from 1986.

Much like the mob boss that battles against Daredevil, Kingpig is a powerful force both physically and financially. When he first battled against Spider-Ham it was when he had made multiple cheese heists, claiming it was because "It's a staple of the American diet!"

7 Green Gobbler

Norman Osbird, or the Green Gobbler, is a villainous turkey that resembles the Spider-Man nemesis, the Green Goblin. He too first made a small appearance in What If? #8 before he was featured in later Spider-Ham conflicts.

The Green Gobbler has gone through some visual changes since his first appearance, but his most recognizable aesthetics still remain. For example, the Gobbler still flies around on his steel turkey glider, tossing explosives at any hero that tries to get in his way.

6 Pork Grind

First appearing in the humor comic What The--? #20 from 1992, Pork Grind is the Larval comics version of the famous Spider-Man foe, Venom. The strikingly larger Pork Grind greatly resembles the deadly symbiote as he is dressed in all black with a white spider on his chest with rows of razor-sharp teeth.

After a case of mistaken identity with the characters Cookies and Milk, Pork Grind enters the scene to fight Spider-Ham. But Peter Porker is fearless as he explains the best way to fight Pork Grind is to do so like a toon. He proceeds to devour some spinach and lands a finishing blow to his foe.

5 Raven The Hunter

Not only parodying Kraven The HunterWhat The--? #3 parodied the famous Spider-Man storyline, "Kraven's Last Hunt." In this tale, Kraven manages to finally capture Spider-Man, bury him in a grave, and take on the mantle of Spider-Man before his self-induced demise.

This introduction of Raven did much of the same thing, besides the dark ending. Raven manages to capture Peter Porker, bury him, and dress up as Spider-Ham to save Mary Jane Waterbuffalo from a giant rat. The twist ending is that Raven and Mary Jane get married, leaving Peter to complain to the comics' editors.

4 The Bee-Yonder

In his first cameo appearance in The Spectacular Spider-Ham #12 from 1986, the Bee-Yonder appears to Spider-Ham after a fight with the Kingpig. At first, Spider-Ham thinks the short glowing bee is going to change his life, but he only changes his wardrobe into the symbiote-styled black suit that Spider-Man wore for a short time.

For those readers unaware, the Bee-Yonder is a parody of the villain the Beyonder from Marvel's Secret Wars created by Jim Shooter and Mike Zeck. The Beyonder was a powerful being who brought together heroes and villains on Battleworld so that he could view the ongoing battle between good and evil. This particular look of the character however is a parody of the Beyonder's human form that he later adopted in Secret Wars II from 1985.

3 Baron Zebro

A cross between Baron Helmut Zemo and a zebra, Baron Zebra has appeared in only two issues, first appearing in The Spectacular Spider-Ham #16 in 1987. The Captain Americat antagonist was gathered with other villains to steal an isotope and deliver it to the evil Mandaringtail.

The character has many similarities to his human counterpart, with most notably the infamous mask they both wear. However, Zebra's black and white muzzle manages to stick out the front of the mask.

2 Eelectro

Like many of Spider-Ham's villains, Eelectro was first seen briefly in What If? #8 before expanding to such titles as Marvel Tales from the 1990s and the recent 2020 Spider-Ham series.

Eelectro is a combination of an eel and the classic Spider-Man character, Maxwell "Electro" Dillon. The character's design stayed virtually the same, dressed in the green and yellow outfit with a large lightning bolt mask. And much like Dillon, Eelectro has the ability to generate electricity and fire it from his tail.

1 Kangaroo The Conqueror

Though not as side-splitting a name as the Bee-Yonder, Kangaroo the Conqueror is a great take on the time traveling antagonist, Kang the Conqueror. Appearing in The Spectacular Spider-Ham #15 from 1987, Kangaroo first battled against The Scavengers when they foiled his plot to take over the thirteenth century and acquire better press in the process.

In this story Kangaroo also introduced the parody of Ultron, Ultrog the robot gorilla. Unfortunately for him Ultrog fought back against his master marsupial so to steal way Scarlet Pooch and run off like King Kong.
