Jersey Shore: The 10 Nicest Things The Cast Has Ever Done

Anyone that hasn't watched Jersey Shore has their preconceived notions about what the MTV series – one of the best series for the network - and its cast is all about. And while the show is indeed filled with drama, from the fights to the excessive partying, the series has also evolved. Now in its latest iteration, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, most of the main cast members from the original series returned.

Older and wiser, they all have families, with most of them either married, with children (having made baby announcements on the show), or both. That doesn't stop them from partying when they're on vacation, of course, nor getting into spats with one another. Nonetheless, as they always say in every episode, they are a family and come together when they truly need one another. And they have proven this time and time again.

10 Supported Nicole When She Was Assaulted

Way back in the original series and in the very first season of Jersey Shore, Nicole, a.k.a. Snooki, wasn't initially as welcomed by the group as she had hoped. She was sort of an outsider until one pivotal incident. While at a bar, she got into an argument with a guy who was seemingly taking the shots they ordered. In a completely shocking move, he punched her.

The cast rallied around a crying and hurt Nicole. Many have noted that it was this moment that made them realize they had to look out for one another, and Nicole became like the sister they had to protect.

9 Helped Organize Mike's Proposal

In Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, a sober and happy Mike was in love with his girlfriend Lauren and ready to pop the question. The cast went out of their way to help him pull off an elaborate proposal, complete with decorations, beautiful lighting, and even a sentimental video.

It not only brought tears to Lauren's eyes but Mike's as well as he finally got down on one knee to ask her to marry him with all of his friends around them looking on.

8 Planned A Wedding Redo For Angelina

After the drama known as the Wedding Speech that Angelina claims ruined her wedding, the group decided they would plan a wedding redo so Angelina and Chris could renew their vows in a second wedding ceremony.

With food, décor, and even a special officiant (Uncle Nino), along with a wedding dress, tuxedo shirt, music, and new speeches, the group was able to mend fences and let Angelina know that she was officially back in the family.

7 Urged Ronnie To Get Help

It was becoming clearer that Ronnie needed help for his anger issues following a number of incidents that were chronicled on social media and in the news, as well as witnessed by the roommates. They each tried to talk to Ronnie to get him to open up, with different people approaching him in different ways.

Mike, for example, delivered some of his learned wisdom from being sober and going through therapy. Vinny and Paulie, meanwhile, tried to make Ronnie realize that his relationship was toxic. In the end, Ronnie made the call for himself, recognized he needed help, and went to rehab. While he returned to the show, he has since left to seek help once again.

6 Took Jenni Out For A Divorce Party

Jenni went through a rough time when she was finalizing her divorce and custody agreement with her ex-husband Roger. Through all of the news and blog coverage, social media posts, and false accusations, her friends had her back.

When everything was said and done, the family took Jenni out to celebrate with a divorce party, proving that they were true friends and would be there to support her through anything, celebrating both the ups and the downs.

5 Jenni Showing Up For Angelina's Bachelorette

Despite the animosity between Jenni and Angelina, their big fight, and big egos, Jenni made the tough decision to surprise Angelina in New Orleans for her bachelorette party. Not only that but she swallowed her pride and admitted she was wrong.

While the two girls made up in the hotel room, the guys also got on a plane to surprise the ladies in New Orleans. They wanted to both crash the bachelorette party and, in their eyes, make it more fun.

4 Supported Mike Through His Trial & After

During Mike's time dealing with his court appearances and conviction, the group was there to support him. They made sure he had the wedding of his dreams beforehand, went on a vacation together, and even surprised him at a bachelor party by inviting Lauren to come.

After he was released, they gathered together to throw him a huge welcome back party. They also went out of their way to check on his wife Lauren and invite her to events while he was in jail.

3 Surprised Mike For His Sober-versary

In an episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Mike was celebrating his five-year "Sober-versary," a big deal for the young man who turned his life around. The cast arranged a drive-by celebration, decorating their cars with balloons, streamers, and encouraging words.

Paulie and Ronnie, who could not be there in person, delivered a video message on a huge drive-by screen along with a pizza truck. But the biggest surprise came when Nicole, who had left the show the season prior, returned to surprise him because she could not miss his big day. The whole event brought tears to Mike's eyes.

2 The Double Book To Get The Girls Back Together

While the methods might have been questionable, the guys decided to pull a "double book" and invite Deena and Jenni as well as Angelina to a hotel in Las Vegas, not telling each that the other was invited. Their intentions were to finally get the girls to squash their beef almost a year after Angelina's wedding.

The events took a turn when Deena revealed she was pregnant and Jenni couldn't make it until the end due to surgery. Nonetheless, some clever strategies which included enlisting the help of Dr. Drew finally helped the girls revive their friendship.

1 Sunday Dinners

From the very beginning, any time the cast is in a house together, they make it a tradition to always have Sunday dinners. Sometimes, it's just them. Other times, others are invited along, such as Vinny's mother and his uncle Nino.

The family has expanded over the years to include spouses and significant others, and sometimes even the kids. Nonetheless, the Sunday dinners are a staple part of the series and one of the nicest things they all do for one another. It's no surprise that fans wished the show had more seasons after it finished the original run, falling in love with the cast once again for Family Vacation.
