90 Day Fiancé: Jovi Dufren's Age Stuns Fans Who Thought He Was Younger

90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star Jovi Dufren’s real age is as interesting as the job Yara Zaya’s husband does for a living to many fans. Louisiana man Jovi met Yara from Ukraine on a travel dating app, and the couple became pregnant after six months. Jovi proposed to Yara soon after, but she, unfortunately, had a miscarriage. Hesitantly, Jovi followed up with the marriage plan and tied the knot with Yara on 90 Day Fiancé season 8. The couple now has a baby and are still together, but Jovi’s maturity while being married to Yara and a father to Mylah is often put to the test.

ROV supervisor Jovi’s poor parenting skills have almost cost him Yara, who is now no longer interested in a Green Card. Recently, Jovi was called out for his views on the COVID-19 vaccine, while on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? and Yara was offended by his behavior at a strip club on their anniversary. The way Jovi claimed he did it to add spice to his boring marriage was frowned upon by Jovi’s co-stars at the Tell-All. His own mother and 90 Day Fiancé fan-favorite Gwen Eymard admitted that she’s on “Yara’s side” before adding that her son “has a lot of growing up to do.”

Fans wanted to believe that Jovi is in his mid-twenties for him to still be embracing his party animal ways. However, Redditor bucky_list was shocked to find out that immature Jovi is 29 years old. Moreover, this is Jovi’s age that flashes on the 90 Day Fiancé screen during his segments, which is how old he was at the time of filming. Jovi, who recently celebrated his birthday on August 14, is really 31 as of 2021. Yara’s husband Jovi is often referred to as a “man-child,” and Twitter user @MsAnit_Nameerf noted that many saw how immature Jovi was since "inception" while his mother is just noticing it. Another fan, @Saleen_MartinTV, wrote, "If you want to party and you're not ready for the responsibility children bring, wear protection" before asking why Yara wasn't careful despite her knowing that Jovi is immature.

Meanwhile, Jovi’s mom Gwen knows that he loves Yara, but she wants him to do a little bit more. “There’s no more ‘oh I’ve been on the boat for a month so I’ve got to go do something,’” Gwen told her son in front of his 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? cast members. Mrs. Gwen reminded Jovi that he’s on a boat because he’s “raising a family” so when he comes home, it needs to be his #1 priority. Gwen bluntly told Jovi that his friends are not number one anymore, and he needs to learn that. “I know,” agreed Jovi, but his excuse is that it's not easy being a father for the first time but did assure Gwen that he’s trying to adapt.

It’s becoming clear that Jovi is not prepared to accept that while his life did change within a span of a year, from getting married in February 2020 to having a baby in September 2020, it has changed for good. Even after Yara spoke of moving back to Ukraine if she has a second kid, Jovi’s response was to decide how he would have to first figure out his work and act accordingly, although he was okay with joining her there. Given Yara and Jovi’s popularity, the couple has high chances of getting another spin-off after 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Fans will just have to wait and see what happens.
