Jersey Shore: 10 Times The Cast Appeared On Other Shows (That Weren't Spin-offs)

Thanks to the success of Jersey Shore, the stars have managed to appear in a variety of other spin-off shows, from Double Shot at Love with DJ Pauly D & Vinny to Revenge Prank with DJ Pauly D & Vinny, Snooki & JWoww, and Vinny & Ma Eat America.

In addition to spin-offs, as well as inspiring several other reality shows like Jersey Shore, the cast has also made other television appearances. This includes everything from celebrity wrestling to masked dancing, talk shows, and more. In most cases, they appeared as themselves. But in a few cases, they did try their hands at acting by playing characters.

10 Dancing With The Stars (Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino)

Mike appeared on the 11th season of this reality dancing competition series back in 2010, where he was partnered with professional dancer Karina Smirnoff. The pair placed ninth, eliminated in the fourth week.

Their highest score for the Foxtrot and the lowest when they did the Argentine Tango. Mike was later joined by Nicole, who competed on the 17th season of the show.

9 Comedy Central Roast Of Donald Trump (Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino)

Even though his jokes fell flat, Mike was an interesting addition to the Comedy Central Roast of Donald Trump back in 2011. He joined comedians like Jeff Ross, Seth MacFarlane, Gilbert Gottfried, and Whitney Cummings on the panel, along with Snoop Dogg, the late Larry King, Marlee Matlin, and others.

His appearance came during the final seasons of the original Jersey Shore series, which aired from 2009-2012. He has changed a lot since then, now with Mike's status as being sober, in his late 30s, married, and with a new child.

8 The Masked Dancer (Vinny Guadagnino)

A spin-off to the popular reality singing competition series The Masked Singer, which sees celebrities sing songs wearing elaborate costumes to disguise their identities, The Masked Dancer follows the same concept, but with dancing. Vinny appeared on the first season in 2020, dressed as a Hammerhead shark.

Vinny told Entertainment Weekly that he really enjoyed the experience and was sad to be eliminated. He was voted out in the fifth episode and revealed his identity, much to everyone's surprise. Several other Jersey Shore cast members had been guessed by the judges as the secret shark, but no one guessed Vinny.

7 Suburgatory (Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino)

Mike, once again, had a small cameo in an episode of the sitcom Suburgatory back in 2012. He played the ex-boyfriend of Dalia, and didn't have many lines, while also still playing "himself."

His character was DJing a high school dance, an interesting role given that Mike's Jersey Shore castmate Pauly D is actually the one who, in real life, works as a DJ.

6 New Stage (Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino)

Appearing on YOBI.tv back in 2011, there were only 13 episodes of this web series, but Mike actually got to star as someone other than himself. He played Angel Adonis, a hip-hop star who works as a judge for a reality singing competition show.

Filmed on campus at Michigan State University, the series was interactive in that viewers were able to vote on the competitors, according to the press release on Cision, and a winner was actually crowned in the YOBISing Mini-Contest.

5 One Life To Live (Jenni "JWoww" Farley)

In 2013, Jenni had an acting gig on the Prospect Park online reboot of this long-running daytime soap opera, playing a recurring character named Nikki, a bartender at the nightclub called Shelter, which is owned by Blair Cramer.

In the short-lived role, she had a casual relationship with her manager. The series, however, only lasted a few episodes.

4 WWE Monday Night RAW (Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi)

Back in 2011, Nicole appeared on an episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, wrestling live for a WrestleMania XXVII event. She first pulled Michelle McCool out of the ring and fought Layla. Her match following this feud saw her join John Morrison and Trish Stratus to fight McCool, Layla, and Dolph Ziggler.

In looking back at her appearance, Nicole told Pop Culture that the moment when she attacked McCool and Layla was "literally my favorite moment." It was a far cry from her moment of public intoxication on the beach, Nicole's most iconic scene from Jersey Shore.

3 Entertainment Tonight (Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi)

Nicole has appeared several times as a guest host on Entertainment Tonight, most recently in June 2021. She discussed her return to Jersey Shore: Family Vacation after saying she would no longer be on the show.

"I just needed a break in general just because I feel like it got really heavy with the drama," she told Entertainment Tonight. It was the surprise party to celebrate Mike's sobriety, one of the nicest things the Jersey Shore cast members have done for one another, that convinced her to go back, Nicole shared on the episode.

2 TNA iMPACT! Wrestling (Angelina Pivernack)

Another Jersey Shore castmate to make an appearance on a wrestling TV show, Angelina made several appearances on Total Nonstop Action Wrestling back in 2011, during the height of Jersey Shore's fame (though Angelina had left the show by that time.)

She trained for the fight and debuted in a six-women tag match, though her team lost. Angelina's verbal battles with Vinny, Jenni, and others have always been among the most entertaining moments on Jersey Shore, so it's no surprise she decided to take her feisty personality to the ring.

1 The Three Stooges (All)

The entire cast of Jersey Shore appeared in cameos in The Three Stooges movie from Farrelly brothers back in 2015, which starred Sean Hayes, Chris Diamantopoulos, and Will Sasso as the title characters.

The stars told Access that they had an "amazing experience" filming the cameos, which saw them getting caught in a number of humorous and goofy situations, true to the movie's nature.
