Suicide Squad Game Characters Spotlighted In New Official Art

With DC FanDome just around the corner, several Rocksteady developers have shared new character art for each of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's main protagonists. Fresh details about Kill the Justice League will surface during the digital DC FanDome event, which WB and DC plan to host next weekend on Saturday, October 16. WB Games Montréal's latest project, Gotham Knights, will also step into the spotlight during the upcoming festivities.

Rocksteady's Suicide Squad game will star four members of Task Force X, namely Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and King Shark. Each member featured in the original reveal trailer that premiered at DC FanDome in August 2020, though little of the title has been shown in the interim. But some new content has circulated since WB confirmed Kill the Justice League's forthcoming DC FanDome appearance. The first of such teases came in the form of official Suicide Squad key art. Plus, the event's latest trailer featured a couple of new clips wherein the Squad members sat front and center. Fans now have something else to feast their eyes on.

A few members of Rocksteady's development team were able to share new character art for each of Kill the Justice League's main cast of misfits. Marketing Game Manager Gaz Deaves showcased a closer look at Floyd Lawton aka Deadshot. Associate Producer Holly Gordon unleashed Harley Quinn's close-up. Elly Johnson, a Sound Designer at Rocksteady, shared the art for Captain Boomerang. And, finally, Advanced FX Artist Hanno Hinkelbein had the honor of showing off King Shark in all his menacing glory. See all four images below:

Each image boasts a white background adorned with the title's black and yellow logo, akin to the official key art that Rocksteady debuted at the end of September. The shots are still rather distinctive, though, given the drastic differences between each character. (Though, interestingly, they all wear bandoliers - even King Shark, who, in the image above, wields only a large knife.)

Set in the same universe as the Arkham series, Kill the Justice League follows the Suicide Squad as they track down a new set of targets. As show in the first trailer, at least one of those targets will include the Last Son of Krypton.
