90 Day Fiancé's Varya Malina jokes about a return to reality TV with Geoffrey Paschel. As Geoffrey is headed back to court for sentencing in December following his aggravated kidnapping and domestic assault conviction, Varya has left Florida and moved into his Tennesee home. The messy love triangle of Geoffrey, Varya, and Mary Wallace did end with the American man choosing his ex-girlfriend and getting engaged. However, Geoffrey and Varya kept their relationship under wraps after stepping away from the 90 Day Fiancé limelight. While viewers knew Varya was staying in the U.S., recent findings suggest she had settled into a house owned by Geoffrey and his mother in Pensacola. Fans suspect Varya is helping Geoffrey sell the house so he can fight his expensive legal battle. Amidst this, most of Varya’s recent posts have been about the fun times she's had with Geoffrey, as he's been focused on his loved ones such as son Dakota and his dogs Kaos and Havoc.
At the same time, Varya, who knows her Instagram has been getting a lot of traffic due to Geoffrey's case, has started monetizing it. Varya has been creating a lot of reels, including one where she revealed how Instagram gives creators money for the videos that get a lot of plays. Her latest reel is captioned, “Does anyone else always terrorize their men to take pictures on vacation? Or it’s only me.” It features a slideshow of Varya striking various poses in a houndstooth bikini with the text “My man’s vacation is always like this,” on it. Assuming the “man” in question is Geoffrey, a curious follower told Varya, “We love you, please come back to 90day fiancé.” Varya replied to them with, “most likely to love after lockup."
Some replies to former DJ Varya’s comment appear to be applauding her “sense of humor” and noting how “This response wins the internet today.” Still, most are largely not impressed with Varya making jokes about being on Love After Lockup considering Geoffrey's list of offenses. A Reddit user Belle_Error wrote, “Sad that anyone would use another's incarceration for a violent act to promote herself. But, here we are...” Meanwhile, docSJL posted, “It’s actually pretty tone deaf to make light of what he’s been convicted of.”
Users such as No_Introduction3987 are trying to gauge if Varya is being serious “or trying to make a joke of the situation.” It may take a while for Geoffrey to leave prison as he reportedly faces a sentence of 12 to 20 years with no possibility for parole. The fact that Varya and her 90 Day Fiancé best friend Natalie have been supporting Geoffrey despite his legal trouble has fetched them a plethora of criticism. As it turns out, Varya thinks Geoffrey will be free soon and joining her in her Instagram reels or, ambitiously, another reality TV show.
