Josh Flagg, a luxury real estate agent, discussed the real Sonja Morgan, from The Real Housewives Of New York. The Million Dollar Listing star has been friends with Sonja for a long time, and they’ve gotten into some drama together in the past. Recently, in Dave Quinn’s new tell-all book, Not All Diamonds and Rosé, Heather Thomson claimed Sonja let men put lit cigarettes in her private areas. Then an old video with Josh recently surfaced, in which he seemed to confirm it.
Sonja is always the life of the party on RHONY. Though she is a fan favorite of the show, it was recently revealed that the RHONY season 13 reunion would be cancelled, after allegations of racism in the cast. Rumors are also swirling that the network is considering cancelling the show altogether, if not putting it on hiatus. This was shocking to many fans, considering that RHONY is one of the most popular installments of the entire Real Housewives franchise. The Real Housewives Of Dallas was put on hiatus this year, proving that Bravo is not against the idea of taking some time out.
On November 4, Josh appeared on Watch What Happens Live, and was asked about the greatest misconceptions fans might have about Sonja. Josh shared that people don’t realize how intelligent and intuitive Sonja is, because her perception on the show is someone "ditzy and insane." Josh went on to say that Sonja, who was married to John Adams Morgan, is aware of everything that she’s doing, even if it doesn’t seem like it. He shared that he has seen the RHONY star partying until the middle of the night, before waking up the next day to have "a business meeting in her pearls."
Sonja recently debuted her comedy tour, which is inadvertently competing with Luann de Lesseps’ Christmas-themed cabaret show. The old friends have had disagreements about performing in the past (like when Sonja asked to be paid more after helping Luann on stage). The disagreement turned into a huge fight, which played out for much of the season.
Lots of drama about The Real Housewives Of New York is being unearthed in Dave’s new tell-all book. In it, Sonja and her castmates speak about behind-the-scenes moments that never made it to the screen. The 57-year-old comedian has been one of the only stars in the franchise to stay a full-time housewife for 11 seasons, without being demoted to a ‘friend.’ Perhaps the hilarious socialite will be on it for another 11, if the show survives.
