Does Wreck-It Ralph 2 Have An End-Credits Scene (And How Many)?

Ralph Breaks the Internet - previously referred to as Wreck-It Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet - is Disney's sequel to the 2012 animated movie Wreck-It Ralph, but does it have an end-credits scene worth sticking around for? In 2012, Walt Disney Animation released Wreck-It Ralph as a new adventure that was steeped in arcade game nostalgia. The movie told the story of Wreck-It Ralph (John C. Reilly), who was dissatisfied with his role as a video game villain and left in order to win a medal in another game and prove himself. Along the way, he met Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman), a glitchy racecar driver in the racing game Sugar Rush. Over the course of the movie, Ralph learned the meaning of being good and formed a strong friendship with Vanellope.

Now, Disney returns to the world of Wreck-It Ralph for a sequel about Ralph and Vanellope, which sees the dynamic duo venture into the internet to buy a part for Sugar Rush so the game isn't fully retired. In addition to exploring the vast reaches of the internet, Ralph and Vanellope also learn an important lesson about their relationship and what it means to be a good friend. The pair also meet a number of colorful characters, including racecar driver Shank (Gal Gadot), Yesss (Taraji P. Henson) and KnowsMore (Alan Tudyk) while exploring the internet.

Now that Disney's Wreck-It Ralph sequel is hitting theaters, fans of the Mouse House might be wondering whether they should stick around through the credits for any extra scenes. In fact, Ralph Breaks the Internet has TWO credits scenes, one at the mid-credits point and another after the credits. So, moviegoers will no doubt want to wait through the entire credits for two additional scenes that are sure to delight Disney fans.

Without spoiling what the end-credits scenes entail, one features a scene from the Ralphs Breaks the Internet trailers that isn't included in the main film. The other is a final joke on Ralph Breaks the Internet viewers that taps into a famous internet meme and plays on Disney fans' love of another famous animated movie. (The end-credits scene is in the realm of Spider-Man: Homecoming's post-credits scene, so keep that in mind when determining whether to stick around for the final joke.)

Although other Hollywood studios typically use post-credits scenes to set up sequels or other installments in shared universe franchises, Disney Animation veers more toward using these scenes to include extra jokes within their films. For instance, Moana's post-credits scene featured a meta dig at fellow Disney animated movie The Little Mermaid. Now, Disney is keeping up with that tradition for Ralph Breaks the Internet, including two extra scenes with jokes that will no doubt delight fans of the Mouse House.

So, while Ralph Breaks the Internet may not use its end-credits scenes to set up Wreck-It Ralph 3, Disney fans will want to stick around through the credits for a mid- and post-credits scene for a different kind of fun.
