The MCU's Tony Stark is the undeniable cheeseburger king in a beautiful fan tribute on Instagram. In honor of celebrating Iron Man's twelfth birthday, fans have been expressing their love all over social media. However, while some chose to pay homage to Tony's superpowers and sarcasm, others have decided it would be best to expose a meatier side of his personality, namely, his love for cheeseburgers.
Yes, cheeseburgers. Those deliciously decadent hot pieces of heaven that bring the delicious worlds of meat and cheese together on a soft bun. In 2008's Iron Man, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) tells Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) that the very first thing he wants after his whole ordeal in the Middle East is an American cheeseburger. And although he strayed from cheeseburgers to eating sweets at California landmark Randy's Donuts, during Iron Man 2, fans have never forgotten that iconic scene where Tony had it his way with a quick Burger King meal.
It has become such a nuanced part of the Iron Man story that even to this day, people use it to honor Tony Stark. And now, a year after Avengers: Endgame stunned fans by killing off Tony Stark; there are still some who wish to honor him by reminding us that when it comes to having a love for cheeseburgers, Iron Man was the King. Over on Instagram, user Bosslogic posted a very regal picture giving Iron Man the ultimate tribute he deserves.
The artist even made sure to tag Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr in the post. Everything we need to remember King Stark is right there; a crown constructed of Infinity stones, a beautiful bedazzled Repulsor that can keep the kingdom void of looters and boring jesters AND, of course, the cheeseburger. Which many will recall how we were all tearfully reminded of Tony's undying love for them when his daughter requested cheeseburgers for her lunch moments before the movie came to an end.
This truly is one of the dopest pieces of fan art commemorating one of the most beloved characters from the MCU. Bravo to Bosslogic for creating something that not only references everything we love about Iron Man, but it also stands as something truly unique that should be spotlighted.
