Which Dawson's Creek Characters Are You Based On Your Zodiac Sign?

The characters on the WB's hit teen drama, Dawson's Creek are all very specific and written to be different and dynamic to give a complete view of high school in a small town and what teenagers experience as they grow through their adolescence.

Every character had a different and compelling story to tell and it's those unique points of view that made for such a successful run, with this series lasting six seasons. Viewers always found something and someone to relate to while watching Dawson, Joey, Pacey, Jen, and the rest of their friends and family navigate life and love.

12 Aquarius: Abby Morgan

Abby shows a lot of an Aquarius' weaknesses when audiences first meet her in detention. Abby is known for being a mean girl; while she is popular, that is mostly because so many people are afraid of her.

The only emotions Abby seems to express are negative and she has a habit of reacting temperamentally in most situations. Jen sees something better in Abby and the two bond over their bad-girl reputations. When Abby dies suddenly and tragically, Jen is left alone to ridicule her classmates for mourning a person they never really cared to know.

11 Pisces: Jen Lindley

At the start of Dawson's Creek, viewers meet new girl, Jen, who comes from New York and is rumored to have a not-so-nice girl reputation, which most likely comes from a Pisces desire to escape reality.

Like most Pisces, Jen is compassionate and intuitive, traits that help her to make friends in her new town. Pisces love to love and Jen wastes no time falling for Dawson and threatening Dawson's friendship with Joey, who harbors secret feelings for her best friend.

10 Aries: Jack McPhee

Aries are known for their emotions and being very empathetic. They are also known for outbursts and being quick to anger. Based on these traits, Jack is definitely an Aries.

His temper is occasionally too short and that gets him into trouble, but Jack is also one of, if not the most courageous character in the series. This character was one of the first openly gay male characters on television and paved the way for a lot of other shows and teen series.

9 Taurus: Dawson Leery

Dawson, like most Tauruses, is reliable and patient. He's the responsible son who stays out of trouble and is usually the first to steer a friend in the right direction if he sees them starting off their path. Dawson is creative but somewhat unwilling to compromise, especially when it comes to his own ideas and belief systems.

The fights and drama Dawson sometimes finds himself in are usually self-inflicted due to the Taurus' stubborn nature.

8 Gemini: Joey Potter

Geminis are gentle, affectionate, and curious about all that life has to offer. Joey is all of those things and seems to always be up for an adventure. Joey isn't afraid to work hard and get her hands dirty, and she's happy to talk to anyone she meets.

Like most Geminis, Joey struggles to make up her mind, especially when it comes to her love life. Geminis also love music, as Joey showed when she performed "On My Own" from Les Miserable early on in the series.

7 Cancer: Andie McPhee

Andie is every parents' dream child. She's well put together, polite, responsible, and works hard to keep her grades up in school.

What Andie can't stand, as is a trait for most Cancers, is critical remarks from her parents and the added pressures she feels from her mother and father to be perfect. Andie is very in tune with her emotions, even if she doesn't always let them show, and she can be very persuasive when she has to be, like most Cancers.

6 Leo: Audrey Liddell

Audrey is Joey's roommate in her freshman year of college and seems to be the quintessential Leo. Audrey hails from Los Angeles, where she lived with her mother who is an actress. Audrey is a cheerful optimist who loves her friends and loves lifting them up even more.

Like most Leos, Audrey likes the theater and the finer things in life. She's also very creative, passionate, and has a pretty interesting love life both before viewers meet her in the fifth season and during her time on the show.

5 Virgo: Bessie Potter

As Joey's tougher, more responsible older sister, Bessie has the hard-working, practical nature of most Virgos. Joey's mother died when Joey was thirteen and her father has been in and out of prison for most of her young life, so it is Bessie's job to take care of Joey.

Bessie doesn't mind the hard work, which occasionally becomes a problem, especially when Joey starts to feel overprotected by her big sister. Bessie means well, but Virgos struggle to find that work-play balance most of the time.

4 Libra: Mitch Leery

Mitch Leery, Dawson's dad, is a great father. He works hard to set good examples for his son while protecting and supporting the family he loves so much. Libras are always gracious and fair; therefore, when Mitch finds out his wife has been having an affair, he does whatever he can think of to keep his marriage from falling apart.

Ultimately, Mitch's efforts don't work and his desire to avoid confrontation becomes his downfall, causing him and Gale to separate for two seasons before reuniting to try again.

3 Scorpio: Gale Leery

In the first season of Dawson's Creek, Dawson's mom, Gale exhibits all of the weakest traits of a Scorpio. Gale's secretive and inherently distracting nature lead her to have an affair with her co-worker.

Joey is the first to learn about Gale's infidelity and from there, the drama spirals until Mitch finds out what Gale has done. Gale's passionate nature saves her marriage and helps her find her way back to the family she loves so much.

2 Sagittarius: Pacey Witter

Sagittarians tend to have a great sense of humor, something Pacey Witter, the class clown, definitely has. Pacey is always willing to lend a helpful hand, but his generous nature can also be a weakness because he sometimes offers more than he can deliver.

In true Sagittarius form, Pacey craves freedom, travel, and adventure, and he struggles with being tied down no matter who he's with and how much he may care for and love that person.

1 Capricorn: Charlie Todd

Capricorns have a tendency to be know-it-alls and somewhat condescending. They also expect the worse, which can make it difficult to form lasting relationships with this sign.

A clear example of a Capricorn is that of Charlie Todd, who fans meet in the fifth season of the series when Charlie starts sleeping with Jen, despite having a girlfriend named Nora. Capricorns are also known for their musical abilities so it makes sense that Charlie is in a band.
