Get Organized With The Home Edit: All The Celebrities On Netflix’s New Show

Netflix's Get Organized With The Home Edit follows master organizers Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin as they declutter homes. Of course, there are lots of celebrities involved. The home improvement series is inspired by Clea and Joanna's business The Home Edit, which allows the two women to visit and rework client homes for increased functionality and aesthetic appeal. Beginning in 2015, the company was quickly recognized for its signature rainbow categorization. Five years later, the company has expanded to include nationwide franchises, a home goods line, and New York Times best-selling book.

Clea and Joanna grew their business through social media, catching the eyes of their 1.7 million followers and A-list celebrities. Immediately recognizable names like Gwyneth Paltrow and Reese Witherspoon are among their biggest fans. Witherspoon, in fact, was so taken by The Home Edit's style, she signed on as an executive producer of the Netflix series, and previously produced a similar 2018 series called Master the Mess that also focused on the organizational duo. The Home Edit has racked up a horde of A-list clientele, offering the pair, and now American audiences, an exclusive look into private celebrity homes.

While Clea and Joanna help plenty of celebrity clients, only eight are featured on the show, not the least of which is the executive producer herself, Reese Witherspoon. Reese appears on the series' premiere episode, calling on Clea and Joanna to organize a closet in her new Nashville family home. The closet is the resting place of Reese's memorabilia, from red carpet dresses to her Legally Blonde wardrobe. LA-based fashion designer Rachel Zoe also makes an appearance on the series. She met The Home Edit organizers through close friends and hired them to transform her closet. Though they left it sparkling, Rachel hasn't maintained it, leading her to call them in for a second round of organization in episode 2 to reign in her chaotic closet full of clothes, shoes, and every accessory imaginable.

KhloĂ© Kardashian is a notorious neat-freak, so fans were surprised to see that she needed to call in extra help to get her garage in order. Clea and Joanna have visited KhloĂ©'s home multiple times in the past and were brought in to help with the Kardashian's last move. Now that the house is in tip-top shape, KhloĂ© was ready to give her overlooked garage the home edit treatment. In addition to KhloĂ©, acclaimed actress Eva Longoria graduated her son Santiago BastĂłn from a baby room to a big boy room. Obviously, every growing boy needs a color-coded closet meticulously organized by The Home Edit masters themselves. Next, actress and comedian Retta, best known for playing Donna Meagle on Parks & Rec and Ruby Hill on Good Girls, is a fan of The Home Edit girls and their how-to book. She recruited Clea and Joanna to transform her media room into a sophisticated "leisure lounge," allowing them to pull out their interior design skills.

Episode six sees Clea and Joanna rework the playroom of Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka's twins', Harper and Gideon. This was their first visit to Harris' home, but Burtka is a huge fan of their guide book. After his successful venture, actress Jordana Brewster recruited The Home Edit team to tackle her pantry, fridge, and freezer, effectively making her food easily find-able and simultaneously pleasing to the eye. Clea said pantries are one of their favorite spaces to work on, so it was a fun and delicious project. Lastly, Kane Brown, a country music singer known for his 2015 EP Closer, and his wife Katelyn Jae made Joanna and Clea's day by giving them another pantry project. The Get Organized With The Home Edit hosts made the food-filled space look even yummier.
