DWTS: Nev Schulman Vs. Former Stars' Dances To Elton John

Last week on Dancing With the Stars, the competitors took on Icons Night. During this round of the competition, the remaining seven couples danced to a song sung by one of their musical icons. Then, all but one of the couples had to dance for a second time, this time head-to-head against another competitor in a dance-off for two extra bonus points added to their scores. This was the second time the couples had to dance twice, but the first time they had to dance against one another for extra points. This round of the competition brought the musical backgrounds of Madonna, Amy Winehouse, and Janet Jackson to the stage, to name a few of the artists.

But for Catfish: The TV Show host Nev Schulman, Elton John was one of his biggest musical inspirations growing up as a kid. Nev and Jenna danced a jive to the song "Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting." Their performance earned them a 27 from the judges. This was the only dance the couple had to complete, since they had the highest cumulative score throughout the series, making them immune from the dance-off.

While this dance earned the couple a high score, it's not the first time a couple has danced to Elton John. In fact, earlier in the season, Johnny Weir and Britt danced a jive to "Crocodile Rock" that earned them a 24 out of 30 from the judges. While this is not the first time dances to Elton John have been performed. on DWTS, they are the only two that have been danced so far this season. You can see the full performance of Neve and Jenn's jive below:

It is unknown how many dances on the show have actually been performed to an Elton John song, but with 29 seasons of the show, it is more than likely that a number of competitors have danced to one of his tunes before. With Elton John being one of the greatest singer-songwriters in the 20th century, many stars have been very vocal about their support for him and his music.

With the Dancing With The Stars finale airing in just one week, many fans are wondering which couple will take home the Mirrorball Trophy. With a double elimination tonight and four couples entering into the finale, it's still anyone's game, as it is all up to the viewers at home.
