10 When They Decided To Be Friends With Benefits

In the season 2 episode "The Deal," Jerry and Elaine thought that they could sleep together without emotions or a serious relationship.

Fans who are torn on whether they were a good couple definitely enjoyed this scene, as they had a funny conversation after flipping through channels and seeing some porn. They came up with rules, convinced that they could make this work without hating each other or ruining their friendship.

9 When They Had Signals For A Dull Party

Of all the Seinfeld episodes that took place at parties, season 3's "The Stranded" is one of the best, as Elaine and Jerry signaled to each other when they were having an awful, boring discussion with a stranger.

This was one of Jerry and Elaine's best and most hilarious scenes, as they were both in total agreement about how parties can quickly become boring. It's always nice to be on the same page as a good friend.

8 When They Discussed Wishing People Happy New Year And The Weather

Many Seinfeld episodes proved it was "the show about nothing" and this often made for some hilarious and relatable discussions.

The beginning of the season 5 episode "The Dinner Party" has a great scene between Jerry and Elaine where they have a meaningless chat that is truly funny. Elaine says that someone wished her a "happy new year" and she was surprised since it was February, and Jerry said someone gave him that greeting in July once. They then discussed the weather and Jerry asked if it was "scary cold" and Elaine asked what his definition was. The fact that these characters could have such a normal, dull conversation proved how close they were, as they saw each other regularly and talked all the time.

7 When They Tried To Purchase A Chocolate Babka

The Seinfeld episode "The Dinner Party" is one of the most famous and the bakery scene is what makes it such a classic.

Elaine and Jerry tried to buy a chocolate babka to bring to their host, but since they didn't get a number, they missed out on the baked good. Viewers loved that Elaine had to get cinnamon, which she said was worse. Jerry made a great statement about how much people adore cinnamon: "Cinnamon takes a back seat to no babka. People love cinnamon. It should be on tables at restaurants along with salt and pepper. Anytime anyone says, 'Oh This is so good. What's in it?' The answer invariably comes back, cinnamon."

6 When They Had A Phone Conversation About Elaine's Bad Dancing

Seinfeld fans love Elaine's bad dancing in "The Little Kicks" and after the party, she phoned Jerry to talk about how her coworkers were treating her.

She told Jerry, "I'm tellin' you Jerry I'm gettin' a vibe. If I didn't know better, I'd say the staff completely lost respect for me." She asked if it was related to the party and then brought up George, calling him "a virus." It was hilarious watching Jerry try not to mention Elaine's awkward dance moves and he did a good job avoiding the situation, eventually getting off the phone. This was a solid Elaine and Jerry scene because while they were often honest with each other, Jerry knew better than to hurt her feelings.

5 When Jerry Told Elaine They Were Only In Florida For One Day

Some Seinfeld episodes didn't age well, but "The Pen" will remain hilarious as the story allows the characters to shine. Jerry and Elaine went to see his parents in Florida and after Elaine realized how hot the condo was, and how uncomfortable the sofa bed was, she wondered how she could stand the rest of the trip.

Jerry said they were only really there for one day and he explained, "Today's over and we have tomorrow. We leave on Sunday. It's one day, really." By the end of the scene, he said, "Half a day, really. I mean you subtract showers and meals, it's like twenty minutes." He tried, but his logic didn't work out as Elaine hurt her back and it was truly the most unpleasant vacation ever.

4 When Elaine Explained That Her New Friends Loved To Read

The season 8 episode "The Bizarro Jerry" is classic and memorable, and fans loved watching Elaine make a new group of friends.

In one scene, she told Jerry that she had been spending time with her new friends and that they enjoyed reading. When Elaine explained, "Kevin and his friends are nice people! They do good things. They read," Jerry was annoyed and offended. It's always awkward when a friend becomes close to other people and jealousy is a common emotion, so this was a relatable moment.

3 When Jerry Told Elaine She Would Date Puddy Again

Elaine shared some funny scenes with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Puddy, and Jerry seemed to know that they weren't over for good.

In the season 9 episode "The Voice," Jerry and Elaine bumped into Puddy, and Jerry said that they would definitely start seeing each other again. Jerry said, "The bump into always leads to the backslide" and made a smart analogy about how just like it's tough to push a Coke machine onto the ground, it's hard to move on from a romantic partner. Jerry and Elaine had many engrossing conversations about dating on the show and this was one of their best.

2 When Elaine Got Mad That Jerry Said She Was "Hot And Heavy"

In the season 7 episode "The Rye," Elaine began dating a musician and Jerry explained to the bandmates that she was "hot and heavy" with him.

Elaine wasn't thrilled with this and told Jerry, "I don't want John thinking that I'm hot and heavy if he's not hot and heavy." Jerry was surprised that she put so much thought into this, which proved that although they were close friends, they didn't always totally understand each other, which is both funny and easy to relate to.

1 When Jerry Had Elaine In Hysterics At A Music Recital

Elaine and Jerry always stayed good friends and they had many great experiences together. Sometimes, being friends with Jerry meant laughing at what was definitely the wrong time.

When at a music recital, Jerry made Elaine laugh extremely hard when he pulled out a Pez dispenser. Later, Elaine acted like it wasn't her, but it was clear from her awkwardness that she probably had something to do with it. This was a classic Jerry and Elaine scene that showcased how much fun they had.
