A 90 Day Fiancé fan on Reddit posted a photo of a couple in San Diego who looks exactly like Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi. After being married in January 2020, Angela and Michael have had to extend their long-distance relationship due to the Nigerian man not getting a visa. Michael not being around to support Angela through her many weight loss surgeries has also caused her to consider divorce. An aggressive fight between Angela and Michael on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, due to her blaming him for cheating in Nigeria, also led to fans asking TLC to cancel the meemaw. However, is Michael really still together and in America with Angela?
An enraged Angela created quite an uproar amongst disappointed fans after her latest attempt at hacking into Michael’s phone to stalk him, and later showering many insults and curses at him. With 90 Day Fiancé's Angela going for her 100-pound weight loss makeover that Michael wasn’t a fan of, getting her breasts reduced and getting a facelift made Michael yearn for a baby and consider divorce. However, Angela blamed Michael for not supporting her, being ugly, scamming her and also cheating, as she ended their 90 Day Fiancé relationship. As per the HEA timeline, however, the fight happened months ago.
The question that remains is if Angela and Michael are really divorced, or if the 90 Day Fiancé couple predictably patched up things. A Reddit user shared a shocking photo of a couple in San Diego who appears to be doppelgangers of Angela and Michael. “Had to do a double-take at first,” the fan added, and commentators jumped in to see whether or not they were really 90 Day Fiancé's Michael and Angela. The post, which has gathered over 1,000 upvotes so far, has comments such as, “It’s their stunt doubles for the fight scenes,” “She would never let him wear such a conservative suit, and she’s not showing enough boobage” and “These two are cosplaying Mahkul and Angela, whether they know it or not.”
However, some 90 Day Fiancé fans are left in bewilderment over how similar the couple looks like Michael and Angela, with one TLC viewer also asking, "Uhm are you sure they aren’t?” Many admitted to doing a double-take, and some wondered if it could be the couple in the middle of filming another spin-off instead. On the show, Michael had his K-1 visa denied, which led Angela to take the spousal visa route after marrying him. But due to circumstances such as the pandemic, he had not received his visa yet.
In the meantime, Angela, insecure about Michael choosing young American women closer to his age over her, indulged in drastic weight loss measures that 90 Day Fiancé fans think are making her look older. While Michael may not be in the United States yet, Angela has let it slip multiple times that they’re still together and married, with no signs of a divorce just yet. Due to this, and Angela having been featured on Maury twice, 90 Day Fiancé fans have also wondered if both she and Michael are just creating fake drama on TLC to get her reality TV popularity to rise.
