In a recent interview with Davina Potratz, Screen Rant decided to steer away from all the drama to get to the bottom of another pressing topic from season three; Is the Oppenheim Group’s wine really as bad as her co-stars make it seem? Yes, we know it’s not the juiciest of questions, but it’s definitely an inside joke amongst this group of luxury realtors. Check out what the realtor-turned-reality-tv-star had to say about the brokerage’s vino. Trust us, It’ll make for a good laugh in between reading all the gossip stirring around these Selling Sunset stars.
Throughout the new season, the lavish ladies of Selling Sunset had to deal with a lot of drama. From Chrishell Stause’s shocking divorce to Justin Hartley, to tensions running high between several cast members—ahem Christine and Amanza—season three covered a multitude of scandals and gossip. And while these scandals fueled fans' reality TV-obsession this summer, the season also had a few moments that were a little less intense, such as when it came to drinking the brokerage’s branded wine. In several episodes of the new season, especially during the Thanksgiving dinner party, the Selling Sunset ladies couldn’t help but vocalize their strong opinions towards the Oppenheim Group’s wine. It’s a total change of pace whenever the high-class realtors cut up with another and their distaste for the brokerage’s branded vino definitely made for some lol-worthy moments during the new season. Chrishell Stause dissed it several times and even the fan-favorite Maya Vander commented on it saying she thought it tasted shitty. So, of course when we chatted with Davina we had to end the interview with her rating the wine.
So, what does Davina Potratz have to say about the Oppenheim Group’s Wine? She laughed when asked and said, “It’s drinkable. Jason’s marketing is really amazing and he has a lot of pride in his brand. So, it's not terrible and I totally appreciate that we have it.” She adds, “On a scale of 1 to 10, I’d give it a five. Is it the best 5? Probably not.”
A five in our book doesn’t sound too bad. But, we guess if you’re making the kinds of commissions these ladies are then you’d probably be wanting caviar instead of catfish (in typical Blair Waldorf fashion), too.
