Did Colt Johnson from 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? really propose to Vanessa Guerra just one day after her divorce was finalized? Lucky fans were able to catch the proposal in action when they stumbled upon the film crew and the couple.
Colt admitted to the cameras that he slept with his best friend and roommate, Vanessa. Fans got their first glimpse of the new girl at Colt's side this season and did not feel that she was interested in the reality star in a romantic way. Even though Colt made a play at her multiple times, she just swatted him away. Colt’s own mother had wished for them to get together but at the time Vanessa had just recently separated from her husband and filed for divorce.
Thanks to Instagram blogger @JohnyYates327tv fans now know that the 35-year-old and his side piece was spotted on a dock being followed by the TLC camera crew. He also mentioned that Colt “wasted no time” since Vanessa’s divorce has just been finalized. The official divorce decree was finalized on Wednesday, November 25.
The second social media post showed the online court records proving that Vanessa was now single and ready to mingle. The photo was captioned “Looks like Colt wasted no time proposing to Vanessa - her divorce from True was finalized yesterday.” Even Colt’s ex-wife, Larissa Dos Santos Lima, seemed to confirm the news, as she gave him a shout out saying, “Congratulations to my ex.” Larissa also made note of a possible love connection during an Instagram story where a fan asked if Colt was jealous of her online bikini pictures to which she replied, “He’s almost married so I don’t think.”
This new information would almost surely confirm that he and Vanessa would be on a new season of the hit TLC show so fans can continue to follow their story. Vanessa has always been a source of contention with Larissa and Jess Caroline who felt that Colt had had a physical and emotional affair with her. Larissa had even pointed out that her last arrest was due to finding texts from her on his phone. Most TLC fans believe this is yet another publicity stunt by the fame-hungry Colt who needs to stay in a relationship to get on another season of the franchise.
